The above table shows possible credits where Pureti can contribute to improved BREEAM scores in the relevant categories.

Indoor Air Quality

Pureti removes 99% of VOCs which is worth 1-2 credits.

It also converts and destroys particulates PM2.5 created by sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides.  There are up to 8 credits available for particulate matter.

Innovation

There are up to 5 credits are available for innovative measures that demonstrate exceptional environmental performance beyond the requirements of BREEAM.

Each credit is worth one point, as Pureti’s product can achieve a 99% reduction in VOC emissions and is considered a new and innovative technology, it may be eligible for up to 5 points under this category.

Pureti is an innovative technology not commonly used in the industry and can achieve a significant improvement in the building’s environmental performance.

Materials – Health & Wellbeing

Up to 10 credits are available for sustainable product selection and procurement, including the use of low-impact materials, responsible sourcing, and reduction in waste. Each credit is worth one point.

Pureti clean and fresh for indoor use contains no harmful chemicals, it last longer than traditional chemical cleaners and whilst removing pollution reduces the use of other chemical cleaners.

When Pureti clear or Pureti coat are applied externally it reduces the amount of future cleaning required for the façade of the building.  As it last 5 years it lowers the future use of chemical cleaning, water and power used for cleaning and less labour with associated transport costs.

Additionally, as the use of Pureti’s product reduces the need for cleaning chemicals and enables less frequent cleaning, it could also contribute to points under the BREEAM category of Health and Wellbeing, which includes the promotion of healthy and comfortable indoor environments.

Land Use and Ecology – Pollution

Land Use and Ecology, up to 10 credits are available for measures that promote the protection and enhancement of the natural environment and biodiversity.

Pureti offers protection and enhancement of the natural environment by removing air pollution.  It is sustainable reducing the amount of other cleaning required inside and outside. It reduces the amount of chemical required for future cleaning.

Additionally, as the use of Pureti’s product removes NOx and SOx from the air, it could contribute to points under the BREEAM category of Pollution, which focuses on measures to reduce air and water pollution.

Management

Under the BREEAM category of Management, up to 15 credits are available for measures that promote effective building management, including the adoption of sustainable practices and the implementation of monitoring and reporting systems. Each credit is worth one point, so if Pureti’s products contributes to effective building management, they may be eligible for up to 15 points under this category.

To be eligible for points under the Management category, Pureti can demonstrate that its products meets the following criteria:

It promotes the adoption of sustainable practices and contributes to the overall sustainability of the building – reduces future cleaning time and the use of chemical cleaning products.

It requires minimal maintenance and is easy to manage, reducing the time and resources needed to maintain the building.

It contributes to the reduction of pollution and the promotion of healthy indoor air quality.

It can be monitored and measured to ensure its ongoing effectiveness and contribution to sustainability.

Don’t just reduce pollution, reverse it.

Photocatalytic oxidation is an innovative way to reduce pollution levels after pollution has occurred by removing NOx, methane and volatile organic compounds from the air while reducing the energy used for cleaning.

PURETi™ helps save water and energy by reducing wash cycles.

A cost effective application of PURETi™ lasts for 5 years or more to offer a broad spectrum of sustainable environmental benefits.
